The Three Dollar Easy Traffic Violator School course is designed to meet DMV-required TVS curriculum standards for traffic violator education. Reporting through the DMV TVCC process will begin only after DMV approval and TVCC access are complete.

Eligibility

You may be eligible to attend traffic violator school if all of the following apply:

  • You hold a non-commercial California driver license (Class C, M1, or M2).
  • The citation was for a moving violation classified as an infraction under the California Vehicle Code.
  • You have not attended traffic school for a citation issued within the prior 18 months.
  • The court that issued your citation has authorized you to attend traffic school.
Commercial Driver License (CDL) holders: If you hold a CDL and were cited while driving a non-commercial vehicle, you may attend traffic school. The conviction will not be masked from your driving record, but you will avoid the negligent operator point.
